State Volleyball Championships

Congratulations to Comeaux High School for stepping up bigtime and doing a fine job hosting the state volleyball tournament.

While we always strive for quality results we do not tightly edit images from state championship events. Some of these images have noticeable imperfections. We often somewhat improve the imperfections in printing but focus and blur, two common maladies in low light situations such as often exist in sports photography, will not go away. We could, of course, make ourselves look good and simply eliminate the problem images but that slightly fuzzy image might be very important to the people in it so you'll see all the shots. Because of "red eye" we rarely use flash but flash was necessary to get images because of lighting conditions for several games and, sure enough, "red eye" occurred. Again, we can often, but not always, correct this. Actually the vast majority of the almost 2,000 images are fine but it's always the bad ones that stick out like a sore thumb so we wanted to explain. Thanks for visiting Flashpixphoto.com.
